As I report and talk to people everyday, I am able to expand my view of the world and have new ideas challenge my beliefs. There are many things I see that I love. There are also many things I witnessed that tick me off.
I graduated from the University of Southern California Annenberg School of Journalism, and received a bachelor of arts in print and digital journalism. I’m also a Chicagoan.
So I’ve created this blog. I’m a young adult. I’m interested in both politics and entertainment. And sometimes I get ticked at world events. That’s why I write. Yapoliticks equals Young Adult Politicks.
Therefore as I peer through the political and social lens, I hope to find myself. Yet I hope to inspire others to undertake this same self-discovery. I’m going multiple places — geographically and intellectually, around this country and abroad. From the continental U.S. to Europe and Asia and everywhere in between. Please join me for the journey. What are you waiting for?
Also, fun fact: I love inspirational quotes so here are a few of my favorite below.
“Keep your face towards the sun and all the shadows fall behind you.”
“Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it turned into a butterfly.”
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”
